Night Owl Empanada Cooking Class!
Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 6pm-9pm
Chef Pam's Kitchen - 280 W Main Street, Downtown Waukesha

Join Chef Pam's class for a fun fiesta making empanadas!  Groups of 4 will work to make their own empanada dough, roll it out and stuff with two different fillings:  chicken and ground beef.  To accompany the empanadas, the class will prepare Mexican Street corn and appetizers of shrimp ceviche with tequila, triple sec, multicolored peppers.  To finish off the evening, enjoy a little something sweet - everyone will get to try tres leche cake.  Can you say, "Buen Provecho?!"

Christmas Night Owls

Saturday, Nov. 22, 10:00a.m. .Join us for a 'special' daytime Night Owls event. We will start with brunch at Mimosa (9405 S. 27th Street, Franklin, WI 53132). After brunch, we will head over to For The Love of Flowers Farm (12144 W 5 Mile Road, Franksville, WI 53126) to attend the 12pm Porch Pot Design Class! There is limited space, so be sure to sign up ASAP! 

In addition to signing up for the workshop at the link, be sure to RSVP to either Sara or Margaret.  Please be sure that you are registering for the correct date, time, and planter as there are multiple options. We will not be able to switch dates or containers, as this workshop sells out fast and materials are limited!

Gathering & Giving - Chapter Service Project

Wednesday, Nov 12, 5:30 P.M.  New Berlin Public Library Heritage Room (15105 W Library Lane, New Berlin) To celebrate the season of giving, we’ll gather together to make no-sew fleece blankets for Project Linus, an organization that provides handmade blankets to children ages 0-18 who are seriously ill, have experienced trauma, or are otherwise in need. All blankets made at this event will go directly to local children in Waukesha County.

Fleece material will be provided, but extra scissors, rulers and masking tape are appreciated! Please bring an appetizer or non-alcoholic beverage to share. We look forward to continuing our spirit of service and supporting our community!

Monday, Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. Big Putts Indoor Mini Golf (4251 S. 27th St., Greenfield) Gather at Brass Tap Pub for Happy hour and a bite to eat ahead of time 5 p.m. The Brass Tap is at 7808 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield. It’s a 10-minute drive to Big Putts from there.

Pouring for a Purpose - Scholarship Fundraiser

Wednesday, Oct 15, 6:00 P.M.  Three Cellars (N72W13400 Lund Lane Suite A, Menomonee Falls) Fall Scholarship Fundraising with a twist! From 6 to 8 p.m., Three Cellars will generously donate 10% of all sales to our Scholarship Fund, including purchases of food, drinks and “to-go” items from their retail space! As a special bonus, members of the Fundraising Committee will be jumping in as Guest Bartenders for the night, serving up drinks with a smile and donating our tips as well!

This event is open to members, non-members, friends and family, so mark your calendars and spread the word! More details on the fun and festivities to come!

Fall 2025 Opening Dinner

Tuesday, Sept 9, 6:00 P.M.  We'll gather in the Private Party Room at Leff's Lucky Town (7208 W State St, Wauwatosa) to reconnect with sisters after a busy summer, hear exciting updates on the business of the Chapter, and vote on changes to our Chapter Bylaws (will be sent in advance via e-mail). Dinner will be a delicious Pasta Bar and a Cash Bar is available for drink purchases. Cost for Opening Dinner is $20.  RSVP by August 26th!

Learn about past scholarship winners and how your donation to the fund helps college students manage the ever-rising costs of education. MINI CANVAS PAINTING

Come and get crafty with mini canvas painting. This is an open canvas event where you pick your own design and work through written instructions on how to create your masterpiece! There are a variety of canvas designs to pick from, with prices ranging from $15 to 35 for the mini sizes. Seasonal drinks and a small menu of snacks are available for purchase. 

BOOK CLUB

We meet at 10 a.m. at Mo’s Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, on the second Saturday of the month. Chitchat and visiting goes until 10:30, when we start to discuss the book. 

We are always open to hearing your recommendations on books you’ve read or heard were good, so bring those with you!
